Nigeria records 108 new cases of COVID-19 as total rises to 981

Nigeria has only tested 178 people for coronavirus even though there is contact tracing for 4,370 people

108 new cases of coronavirus were on Thursday night reported by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), bringing the total cases to 981.

In the new cases reported, Lagos had 78 cases, 14 in FCT, five in Ogun, four in Gombe, three in Borno, two in Akwa Ibom, one in Kwara, one in Plateau.

According to the NCDC, "As at 23rd of April, there are 108 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 197 have been discharged with 31 deaths. There are 27 states with confirmed cases in Nigeria."

108 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;

78 in Lagos
14 in FCT
5 in Ogun
4 in Gombe
3 Borno
2 in Akwa Ibom
1 in Kwara
1 in Plateau

As at 11:30 pm 23rd April there are 981 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
